Poltergeist: A Bequest is a 1996 Canadian/American horror television series.
A Bequest occurs as secret society created to fight against evil in the world. A story is according to a San Francisco, California branch team which includes: Dr. Derek Rayne (Derek de Lint), Rachel Corrigan (Helen Shaver); priest, Philip C. (Patrick Fitzgerald); ex-Navy SEAL, Nick Boyle (Martin Cummins); and researcher/psychic Alex Moreau (Robbi Chong).
A series was created by Richard Barton Lewis and produced by PMP Legacy Productions, Showtime Network Inc. & Trilogy Entertainment Group. Special effects were creatd by Canadian companies C.O.R.E. Digital Pictures, Gajdecki Visual Effects, Lindala Make-Up Effects Inc., Rainmaker Digital Pictures and American Pixel Envy and Velocity Visuals. the series was a spinoff from the Poltergeist movies. A series was filmed within Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia and lasted four seasons of Xxii episodes apiece heading from either 1996 to 1999.
